Nordic Youth for Change: Green Skills and Action Plan

Empowering young changemakers across the Nordic–Baltic region

🌍 Overview

Nordic Youth for Change is a collaborative initiative that empowers young people and communities across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Estonia to lead the green transition through skills, action, and civic engagement.

Funded by the Nordic Culture Point’s Norden 0–30 Programme, the project brings together over 240 young participants aged 16–30 to co-create sustainable solutions and strengthen social cohesion across Nordic societies.

🌱 Vision

To build a new generation of green-minded, inclusive, and responsible Nordic youth leaders who connect sustainability, democracy, and equality — creating real impact at local and regional levels.

🧭 Impact and Long-term Value

  • Empowering 240+ youth across six countries.

  • Building cross-border green and civic competences.

  • Encouraging youth-led sustainability initiatives in local communities.

  • Establishing the Green Habito Network — a lasting platform for collaboration and innovation in the Nordic–Baltic region.
